Wonderful Platform for Small Neighborhood Association
As a small neighborhood association comprised of volunteer board members, we rotate roles every two years, so tools and efficiency in tracking membership dues, other expenses were lacking. As Treasurer at the time, I was patching Excel files from prior years in order to understand our "universe" of members. Paid CRMs were hard to justify, especially with no guarantee a new board member would adopt the process, so I'm so grateful to have found Zeffy!!
Now I'm the Member Liaison, so I use Zeffy the most and build our monthly E-News newsletter, enter membership dues, and build fundraising campaigns, such as car wash gift cards and selling stickers. I can quickly shoot a personal email to one constituent as needed, add notes, create segmented lists, etc.
One of the main things I would recommend to other Zeffy users is to make sure you're sharing links in other platforms, like social channels and your website. I also recommend referring other local nonprofits to check Zeffy out (and try and get that referral bonus)! I've promoted it in Facebook groups, haven't reaped the benefits, but will keep promoting Zeffy because they deserve the credit! The team is wonderful, responsive and their training videos, special 1:1 messages are top notch! Thank you, Zeffy!
