End of Year Choir Donation Campaign: 100% funded so raised goal -> 83%

Our choir created an end-of-year fundraiser for the first time, trying to supplement our concert and grant income to fill in the gap in our budget.

Why it worked: We shared it with our email subscriber list and on our socials, and talked meaningfully about the purpose of our choir and how it brings people together and is a link to the past. We were also honest about our budget shortfall.

I don't remember what the original goal was, but we reached it, so then we upped our goal and hit 83%, which was very nice.

What we'd repeat: Sharing multiple times. We used to share links to concerts etc once or twice, not wanting to overload people, but then I read how people need multiple reminders. We did so and it definitely worked. Sharing it multiple times got more donors.
