Our “Help Leroy get Home” campaign raised the most money in the shortest period. Obviously how user-friendly Zeffy is helped, but I think the fact that we were able to share Leroy’s full underdog comeback story and photos really drove the donations in because people were able to see exactly who they were helping and how much this boy meant to us and his future family!

The biggest tactic that was used was playing towards people’s emotions through sharing Leroy’s story. We really wanted people to feel like they knew him and were apart of his whole journey, even if they were just finding out about him.
