Why this campaign worked: We aimed high with our donation goals. We knew we were asking a lot. Friends and family were the big contributors and we kept sharing our fundraiser on social media as well as at local events. Including specific information on how we plan to use the funds was helpful for donors.

Something to repeat: Have specific people who are receiving the funds post on their socials and do a personal ask to friends and family. This is the best way to find connection with the donor community. Roller Derby is such an amazing community and we all love supporting the growing sport.
