As a newly established charity, our Founding Funders Campaign was about more than raising funds, it was about building a community of supporters who believed in our vision from day one. The campaign introduced IAAD's mission to new donors, generated our first major gifts, and helped establish the financial foundation to begin training life-changing assistance dogs for individuals living with disabilities.

Launching with Zeffy gave us a professional, easy-to-use donation platform while ensuring every possible dollar supported our programs. Many of our Founding Funders have remained engaged, continuing to support IAAD through future campaigns and monthly giving.

What Would We Repeat?

We would absolutely repeat our focus on storytelling and inviting donors to become part of IAAD's story from the very beginning. Rather than simply asking for donations, we invited people to help build a lasting legacy. Combined with a seamless donation experience, clear impact messaging, and meaningful giving opportunities, this approach has helped us build lasting relationships, not just one-time donations.
