Climb the Peak for MS form

The Impact:
On June 7th, we hosted "Climb the Peak for MS" at Pats Peak in Henniker, NH. Our community came together to support MS advocacy and research, and through this Zeffy form, we successfully managed registrations and donations to raise over **$36,000**!
Why We Think This Form Worked So Well:
We needed a form that could handle both event logistics and straight donations without confusing the user. We believe this link captured so many donations in such a short time because of a few key design choices:
1. The story, we had individuals creating their own pages and sharing their MS story. Why this money meant something to them..and they formed teams...23 teams to be exact. The top 3 teams raised almost half the funds.
2. Frictionless Checkout: By keeping the form description punchy and the custom questions to an absolute minimum, we avoided "form fatigue." Donors could land on the page, feel the energy of the event, and check out in under a minute.
3. Mission-Focused Branding: We utilized the banner and description space to tell the story of *why* we were climbing, ensuring that every visitor understood that their dollars were staying local to support those living with MS.
Our Top Tip for Other Nonprofits:
Never close your event form the minute your event ends—plan a "Post-Event Push."
Many organizations shut down their ticketing/donation link as soon as the physical event wraps up. Instead, we kept our Zeffy link live for the 48-72 hours following the climb. We immediately posted photos of the event and shared our preliminary fundraising totals on social media, directing people back to the form.
Tapping into that "post-event high" brought in a massive secondary wave of donations from people who couldn't attend, saw how much fun we had, and wanted to help push us over our final fundraising goal. Keep the link alive and make that final victory ask!
