Walking Together: How Community Drives our Pregnancy & Infant Loss Fundraiser

Our PILSC Annual Legacy Run/Walk event is hosted by the Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Centre, a cause rooted in some of the most tender and difficult moments a family can face. The community that shows up for this event doesn’t just donate. They walk in memory, they walk in hope, and they walk together.

Our Peer-to-Peer campaign has been the heartbeat of this event. Participants don’t just register and buy their tickets, they become advocates. They share personal stories and rally their own networks around a cause that is deeply personal to so many. That human connection is what drives our numbers, and right now we’re sitting at over $52,000 raised with several weeks still to go - just in peer-to-peer fundraising alone.

What makes this campaign especially meaningful is how it comes together as a full ecosystem on Zeffy. Our P2P fundraising is supported by a separate event ticket form (currently over $20,000 raised) for those joining us on the day, and we’re actively building out a silent auction component as well. Three forms, one mission - giving our community every possible way to show up and contribute. Including sponsorships (processed separately), we are currently sitting at over $126,000 raised and still have weeks left and our silent auction!

Zeffy has made it possible for every dollar raised to go directly toward supporting families navigating pregnancy loss at any stage, infant loss, and infertility. For a cause this close to so many hearts, that matters more than we can say!
