WHY WE LOVE IT:

We love Zeffy because it is incredibly easy to set up and use, and it makes giving simple for everyone. Donors can choose a specific amount or set up a recurring gift that keeps our work going month after month. We also appreciate that Zeffy shows the real impact of our community in action by highlighting how much we have raised and how many people have stepped forward to help. That level of clarity strengthens the donor experience and deepens our sense of community impact.

We also appreciate that donors immediately know they’ll receive a tax receipt and, most importantly, that Helping Hands receives 100% of every contribution. That transparency and generosity mean everything to a small pantry doing big work.

THE ONE THING WE'D REPEAT:

One thing we will absolutely repeat in our next campaign is using social media to keep interest strong. Posting regularly on Facebook and Instagram helped us stay connected with our community and reminded people that their support truly matters. We shared updates on our own page and also in local community groups where many of the neighbors we serve stay informed. We kept every message positive and made sure people knew how grateful we are for their generosity.

This approach did more than raise awareness. It honestly felt like we brought the community together and helped everyone feel like they were part of something meaningful for the greater good. That sense of shared purpose is something we will continue to nurture through every future campaign.
