Our key to success was honest transparency. We shared our mission and goal, our startup story, what their contributions provide, and other ways to partner. I’m sure having photos helped to bring it home. People want to see proof of where their money is going.
The one thing I would repeat is how we marketed this campaign: personal texts, emails, social media, flyers in local spaces, and having the QR code available at every event. Visibility makes the difference.
