PTA Movie Night: Optional Food Donation Added 11% More Revenue

Why we love it: Our PTA used Zeffy to host a movie night fundraiser with a simple $18 required child ticket and an optional $4 food donation. The low $4 amount made the add-on feel easy for families to say yes to, which helped drive strong participation.

One thing we’d repeat: The optional add-on model has now become a standard practice at our community and fundraising events. At this movie night, more than half of child ticket purchasers added the optional food donation, generating $244 in extra revenue. Across all our events, these small optional add-ons generated more than $1k of additional dollars for our PTA.
