Zanzibar Student Aid raises funds to cover school fees, the cost of school supplies and uniforms, the cost of our school lunch program, and other special activities for students in Zanzibar. We were founded by Michal Solowiej, who knew that one of the sure fire ways to escape poverty was through education. We honor his memory every day in our work!

Our funding model relies on connecting donors to specific children that they support. As their "god parents" they receive quarterly updates on their students' progress, updates on events at the schools, and can see the impact their donations have over the years. Creating that connection has kept our momentum since our founding in 2021!
