Why it worked:

This donation form worked because it gave our supporters a simple, easy way to give before, during, and after the 11th Annual Sheryl’s BreastFest, our Polk County Music Festival & Cancer Benefit in Lakeland, Florida. We raised $5,719 across 44 donations, helping us provide direct financial assistance to local individuals and families facing the financial hardship of cancer treatment.

The form was easy to share through social media, emails, and event communication, and it allowed people to support the mission even if they could not attend in person. Zeffy also helped us keep more of every donation going toward the cause, which matters so much to a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit like ours.

The one thing we’d repeat:

We would repeat sharing the donation form multiple times throughout the full event season — before the event, during event week, on event day, and again during our follow-up thank-yous.
