Triple Your Love was our year end fundraising plan and the focus was to provide food, health care, and love for the dogs who have been at our rescue for more than a year. We are a small volunteer based Great Pyrenees Dog Rescue in Virginia. This campaign raised 112% of its goal of $15,000. As a result, two donors each sent us a check for $15,000. Our total funds raised exceeded $46,000!

Several reasons for success: (1) We had secured two donors prior to the appeal so we could do a "Triple Your Love" theme, (2) our appeal started after Giving Tuesday with a 12 Dog Days of Christmas series of postings featuring our long stay Pyrs with NO ask for donations, (3) the ask for Triple Your Love donations started December 26 and we went hard and furious with postings featuring each of our long stay dogs with Alex (the dog) being the spokesdog, and (4) we used Zeffy.com as our landing page so we received 100% of each and every donation.

What will we do again? We'll use the same approach - name a spokesdog, create a fun and engaging Zeffy.com page, focus on the dogs who have been with us the longest, and secure two donors so we can do another Triple the Love.
