The best part about this is that donors can tell us in which church's or school's name they want to make the donation and if they are sponosring a individual. This helps us track how much each participating organization is raising and how many sponsors each individual acummlulates.

Having raised $143,411 across 788 donations, a good portion of that comes from our fundraising competition. Each year, we give out a $500 gift card to the person who accumulates the most sponsors (# of unique sponsors, not $ amount). This encourages participants to take ownership and spread the word. We provide an email and social media template that they can send out.
