One-Stop-Shop

It all started when we needed to raise funds for a backhoe. I had heard of crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe - but they charge a commission and some are politically biased. So I asked Grok if there was a crowdfunding platform that was geared to non-profits. It revealed Zeffy…

Within an afternoon our account was created, bank linked, campaign posted! Within a few weeks we had reached our target, thanks to the ease of sharing the campaign via social media, QR codes, e-mail blasts and embedded links.

Further exploring Zeffy’s powerful tools, we have since created two stores and concluded another successful fundraiser.

Zeffy really is a one-stop-shop for all your needs. It has officially replaced PayPal as our website embedded donate tool.

Here’s what I love about Zeffy:

• It passes on 100% of your hard-earned donations and gives the donor the choice to tip.

• It now has an Organization Page that nests all your needs, which people can subscribe to and get notified when you launch a new campaign.

• It gives you and your associates the ability to receive tap payments directly on your phone via the app.

• It has multiple tools for your varied needs, like store, donate, etc.

• It sends the donor their tax receipt instantly and allows for follow-up emails.

• It has a powerful backend with statistics and database, giving you the ability to easily launch new campaigns and expand your donor base.

That said, here’s what I’d like to see improved:

• That the app mirror the powerful features which the webpage has, like the ability to receive recurring donations and display all the options in a store.

• That the custom field wouldn’t have a pre-entered amount, but say “enter custom amount” or something … quite a few donors have been confused by that.

Zeffy makes fundraising easy and even fun. All our associates are excited about it and I look forward to expanding our use of it to accomplish all our goals.
