18th Annual Military Appreciation Golf Outing

The Blue Star Mothers have been in existence, nationally, since 1942, and the Fort Wayne Area chapter was chartered in August 2008. The proceeds from the golf outing assist the Fort Wayne Area Blue Star Mothers in sending care packages to deployed military members who may otherwise not receive packages. We support the local VA with Christmas Stockings, water and coffee for the outpatient services- We also support local Veteran Shelters such as Liberty Landing, Shepherd's House, and the Richard Lugar Safe Haven with bus passes, goody boxes, and personal toiletries. At Safe Haven we provide welcome home kits for Veterans as they transition into their own living space from the shelter. These kits consist of a shower curtain, cleaning supplies, trash bags & other essential items that allow our veterans to transition into living on their own a little easier. All of this is possible because of donors like you.

We have found the use of Zeffy to be easy for us and our golfers and sponsors. Zeffy is responsive to our questions and needs. It is easy to edit and add campaigns. I have informed other organizations about Zeffy.
