Being transparent with our monthly costs builds trust with our donors and provides a tangible picture of where the money goes, with donation amounts tied to specific item costs. Demonstrating that making 600 burritos at a time allows us to operate at a cost of approximately $1 per burrito helps donors understand that even small amounts can make a big difference - a $5 donation provides 5 complete, portable meals to people in need.

Something to repeat: Having your Zeffy QR code available at events - we have a large print out at our sign in table and have the code on the back of our business cards. The lower the barrier to engagement, the more likely someone is to donate. We highlight the recurring monthly donation feature and have a high number of recurring donors from our local community and beyond.
