CivicsEDU is a Charlotte, NC based nonprofit that is committed to improving civic literacy in schools and communities across the Central Carolinas. In this environment of declining civic trust, it is vital that we are able to streamline our donor experience and utilize the best resources to ensure that every dollar goes directly to our mission. Zeffy is that resource. We’ve been with Zeffy since inception and we have not regretted it one bit.

We set up our page to give our donor options for how they’d like to support us. They can be a one-time giver, or they can opt into our Civic Circle of monthly and annual recurring donors. This way, we can better tailor our message to the right audience and maximize our donor relationships! Since doing this, we’ve increased our monthly donor pool by 25% and have seen surges in each of our annual campaigns!

A tactic that we recommend for other nonprofits is using your website domain to its fullest potential. When we share our donor page with the public, we give them our custom URL that directs them to our Zeffy page: donate.civicsedu.org. That way, it’s super easy to remember and it ensures that our donors are directed to the right place when giving their donations.
