Why it worked

Animal Outreach has been serving animals and families in our community since 1992 through affordable veterinary care, spay/neuter services, rescue, and cat adoption programs. We designed our donation form to make it easy for supporters to connect with the part of our mission they care about most, whether that's helping fund our new shelter,  assisting special-needs animals, or providing general support where it is needed most.

The form helped us raise $24,294 from 115 donors by clearly communicating our impact and giving donors meaningful choices in how they support our work.

Give donors options and connect each option to a specific impact.

Instead of offering only a general donation, we allow supporters to direct their gift toward programs they are passionate about. Some donors want to support affordable veterinary care, some want to help community cats, and others are excited about our new shelter project. Giving donors a choice helps them feel personally connected to the outcome of their gift while still supporting the organization's overall mission.
