From Sponsors to Supporters: Building a Complete Fundraising Experience with Zeffy

Our sponsorship form worked because it served as the central fundraising hub for our annual North Shore Rotary Bowl-a-Thon benefiting Staten Islanders with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Sponsors could clearly see every sponsorship opportunity, while the form seamlessly connected to our team registration and peer-to-peer fundraising efforts, helping us raise more than $30,000 for the cause this year.

One thing another nonprofit could learn from this form is to make sponsorships part of a larger fundraising ecosystem. By linking sponsorship opportunities directly to participant registration and fundraising pages, supporters had multiple ways to engage, contribute, and become advocates for our mission. This was our first year using Zeffy for the event, and it was so successful that we now rely on Zeffy for all of our fundraising needs.

For more than 16 years, the North Shore Rotary Bowl-a-Thon has helped fund programs and opportunities that enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Staten Island.
