When Purpose Meets Community, Impact Follows-Zeffy Community Awards Best Event Form category
At Sisters With a Purpose Foundation, our work is guided by the belief that when women, youth, and families are supported, stronger communities are built. We are committed to empowering individuals through mentorship, education, leadership development, and practical support systems that foster confidence, growth, and meaningful opportunities.
Our recent fundraising campaign sold over 400 tickets and raised over $30,000 to support our programs and services throughout the community. It was more than an event it was a reflection of what is possible when people come together around purpose. It created space for connection, shared vision, and a deeper understanding of the work happening in our community every day.
Why it worked:
Our campaign was successful because it was simple, mobile-friendly, and clearly communicated the purpose and impact of each donation. Supporters were able to complete their registration or donation quickly without unnecessary steps, which helped increase participation.
One thing another nonprofit could repeat:
Make it easy for supporters to share your event. We encouraged board members, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to share the Zeffy link across their networks, significantly expanding our reach without increasing marketing costs.
