Why this campaign worked:
This campaign succeeded because it offered a clear, high-value event that directly connected participants to a meaningful community experience. By combining a well-established tournament with a simple registration process and strong grassroots outreach, we generated $18,200 in registrations from just 28 teams (and counting!), demonstrating both demand and trust in the event.

One thing another nonprofit could repeat:
Create a registration page that clearly communicates the event's purpose, logistics, and value while making it easy for supporters to commit immediately. For us, leveraging an annual signature event with an existing audience and opening registration well in advance helped drive early momentum and revenue that can be reinvested into planning and execution.
