BIG SPLASH Banquet and Awards ~ Zeffy made event planning easy

The Burlington Aquatic Devilrays are a year-round community swim team. This year, in addition to training swimmers, our focus has been on creating a welcoming community for families in and out of the pool. Events like our banquet, allow parents and swimmers to come together, get to know each other better, and feel welcome and celebrated. Our Zeffy event allowed us to sell 154 tickets and raise more than $4500 without the administrative overhead that we have incurred in previous years - such as invoicing each family separately once they indicated they would like to attend. We were also able to use the information captured during sales to determine seating arrangements and used Zeffy to accept credit card payments for our silent auction items, which we, again, have had to invoice in the past.

We will continue to create community event campaigns in Zeffy to encourage out team to grow as a community. We learned a lot through our first campaign (the banquet) and will be able to streamline our process even further going forward.
