STEM Scholarship Awards Foundation

My name is Kimberly Gettys, Founder and Executive Director of the Charles Herbert Flowers Foundation (CHFFINC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to STEM education and scholarships for students across North Carolina. When we launched our organization in 2025, we were searching for an affordable, user-friendly fundraising platform that would help us share our mission and connect with supporters. Zeffy has been an incredible partner in that journey.

Through Zeffy’s fundraising platform, we raised more than $6,000 during our first year, allowing us to provide STEM scholarships and expand our outreach efforts. The platform makes it easy for donors to contribute, and its intuitive tools help us effectively communicate our mission, engage our community, and showcase our impact.

We are also excited about Zeffy’s membership feature, which allows us to manage memberships and donations in one place. This has helped us build stronger relationships with supporters while creating a sustainable source of funding for our programs. Zeffy has been instrumental in helping our young nonprofit grow, and we look forward to continuing our partnership as we expand opportunities for students and families.
