Why we love it

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a non-profit, civilian auxiliary to the United States Air Force. Established in 1941, CAP is a public service organization that provides an array of K-12 aerospace and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) curriculum and educational products for members and teachers; offers youth character, leadership, and career development opportunities; and provides essential community service for federal, state, and local agencies in the air and on the ground. Our Zeffy 2026 Oklahoma Wing Encampment form is an intensive, week-long training experience that immerses cadets in Civil Air Patrol’s core missions of leadership, aerospace education, and disciplined teamwork.

What’s one thing we’d repeat

Civil Air Patrol’s mission statement is “Volunteers Serving America’s Communities, Saving Lives, and Shaping Futures.” This encompasses the organization’s three major programs: emergency services, aerospace education, and cadet programs.

CAP provides a safe, productive environment for youth to develop into responsible citizens, always ready to join with adult members in helping their neighbors when disaster strikes, on the way to becoming tomorrow’s leaders. The Oklahoma Wing Encampment inspires and challenges youth to reach their full potential. Today’s Cadets are tomorrow’s leaders!
