Why it worked: Our registration page had pricing and ticketing choices without having to click through multiple screens. This reduces confusion and helps people make a decision quickly. We also thought the registration page was mobile friendly, allowing attendees to purchase easily off their mobile devices. Lastly, we thought the overall registration process was easy for attendees to navigate from ticket selection, contact information, and payment process.

One thing another nonprofit could repeat: I would suggest putting pricing into tiers (we did non-member vs member) and also having flexibility in the options. We did a one-day pass and a 3-day pass so there was the option for a lower-commitment which reduces purchase anxiety. We also put deadlines of when our ticket sales close so that there was a bit of urgency, so people don’t put off and forget to register. Overall, Zeffy is a great, straightforward platform to use for event ticket sales.
