Huntington Pride (WV) - Almost $4,000 in 72 Donations!
Huntington Pride’s mission is to promote community-building, visibility, advocacy, and other supports for the Greater Huntington, West Virginia LGBTQ+ community and our allies through social events, community partnerships, and educational outreach.
Our general donation form works first and foremost because of the incredible community we have here in Huntington, WV! Without their passion and support, we would not be able to accomplish the incredible work and events we have each and every year. One of the strongest aspects of our form that has helped us raise funds has been our commitment to accessibility, either through links on our website, QR codes available at all in-person events, or now utilizing tap-to-pay features making it easier than ever for our donors to contribute to our organization. Making payments available in quick, easy processes has allowed our organization to connect with our community at any time, which in turn allows us to meet (and often exceed!) our financial goals!
We would highly encourage other organizations to focus in on how they can best make their forms accessible to their communities through the tactics we use at Huntington Pride, or being creative based on their unique situations to promote virtual forms in real-world situations and events!
