Why it worked for us - It made the ask feel personal, not transactional. KLSF’s strongest messaging is always tied to Kauri, community care, autism support, grief, healing, and family. Our form connected to a clear purpose feels more meaningful than just “buy a ticket” or “donate.”
One thing others can repeat is offering a “support from home” ticket option. For KLSF, the Sleep-In Supporter option worked because it gave people a way to participate even if they could not attend in person. They could still receive a t-shirt, feel connected to the event, and support the cause. That helped capture transactions from people who may have otherwise skipped the form completely.
